Made a marriage proposal at Baoase on Curacao this week. This in combination with a photo shoot. The photo shoot went very well. During the photo shoot, Nestor ensures that you are very comfortable. He is also very critical of attitude and position. This ultimately creates very beautiful pictures!

I decided to celebrate my birthday on the island of Curacao in the best hotel on the island. I love to celebrate beautifully, and then I decided to find a photographer on the island to capture my holiday more chicly early in the morning. Yes, I was very lucky that I found this wonderful photographer Nestor. Was so comfortable to work with him cheerful, positive, polite that I invited him to do another photo shoot for us on the same day at sunset before dinner. And yes, I hit the mark again 🍾 It was a super experience. My husband really doesn't like photo shoots, but he was delighted with Nestor's work. Definitely the best photographer in the Caribbean. I advise everyone to spend an hour of pleasure with this professional. And you will not regret it, I promise.

When we booked our trip to Curacao, I knew I wanted to have pictures taken for our 15th Anniversary. We didnt know any photographers on the island, and Nestor came referred to us by a local. We could not be happier that we chose him for our anniversary photo session! Not only was he communicative during the early process, he was patient, gave fantastic beach recommendations for the shoot (and ones to visit during our trip), he graciously picked us up from our hotel, and provided a fun and memorable experience. Amazingly pictures were delivered within 4 days and were more than I could have hoped for! I would highly recommend to anyone looking for keepsakes!

A few simple tips
- Choose clothing that makes you feel comfortable, confident and beautiful.
- Flowing dresses and fabrics can create beautiful movement, especially for beach and sunset sessions.
- Choose light, breathable fabrics whenever possible. Curaçao’s heat and humidity can be intense, so comfort is especially important during pregnancy.
- Avoid large logos or highly distracting patterns.
- Comfortable footwear is recommended for walking between locations; you can change shoes for the photographs.
- Bring water and any personal essentials you may need during the session.
- Partners and children are welcome to be part of the experience.
- Schedule your maternity session at a stage of pregnancy when you feel comfortable and your baby bump is clearly visible.
